- PRESS RELEASE
Al Bateen Executive Airport, operated and managed by Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC), announced that its Fixed Based Operator (FBO) facility DhabiJet was ranked second best in the world by the prestigious European Business Air News (EBAN) magazine's FBO Survey 2013.
The survey received votes for a total of 328 facilities in Europe, the Middle East, Russia and Africa, ranking DhabiJet the best FBO in the Middle East Region.
In celebration of this achievement, H.E. Ali Majed Al Mansouri, Chairman of ADAC, said, "For the second year running, DhabiJet was ranked on the top five list of premier FBOs around the world. This is an accolade for ADAC and the entire team at Al Bateen, marking their continuous efforts and commitment to providing the highest levels of FBO services to visiting aircraft, passengers and crew."
Every EBAN reader and visitor to each qualified aircraft operator has the opportunity to vote for their favorite and award them points for their facilities, services, staff and value for money. Al Bateen's accomplishment follows a record year in 2012, which saw an 11% increase in overall commercial aviation movements compared with 2011.
"As the business aviation market is continuing to soar in the region and around the world, ADAC has positioned itself as a regional leader of this sector, while at the same time, reinforcing the position of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi as the Region's premier venue for private aviation. This position reinforces ADAC's commitment to constantly excel and enhance its wide range of aviation related services," concluded Al Mansouri.
Established in 2010, Al Bateen Executive's DhabiJet serves all of the requirements of its dedicated business aviation clientele under the management and co-ordination of a single, highly trained DhabiJet customer service team. Its range of services include meet and greet, fuel, cabin cleaning, catering, limousine and crew services.
