Riyadh's ultra luxurious hotel, Al Faisaliah Hotel, A Rosewood Hotel, re-affirmed its leadership position in the regions' hospitality industry, after the hotel was recognised as "Best Hotel for Saudi Arabia" at the prestigious Arabian Hotel Awards 2012.

The Arabian Hotel Awards are part of the International Property Awards, which have been running for 18 years, and have been created because of the increasing number of entries received from the hospitality industry for its commercial categories. The Arabian Hotel Awards were presented at a glittering gala presentation at the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square on Sunday, November 4th.

Evaluated by a panel of industry experts, The Arabian Hotel Awards 2012 shortlisted properties in the Middle East according to their green credentials, architectural merit and design.

Commenting on the award, Erich Steinbock, Regional Vice President for Rosewood Hotels in the Kingdom, and Managing Director of the Al Faisaliah and Al Khozama Hotels said: "Al Faisaliah Hotel is renowned for its unrivalled luxury, prestige and world class hospitality. Receiving recognition of this kind is certainly a true honour for Al Faisaliah Hotel. We will ensure that this leadership position continues for many years to come."

Earlier this year, Al Faisaliah Hotel became the first hotel in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to be included in the prestigious Condé Nast Traveler Gold List 2012, in addition to scooping two other awards at the 2012 World Travel Awards held in Dubai: "Saudi Arabia's Leading Hotel" & "Middle East's Leading Luxury City Hotel. The property was also awarded "Best Business Hotel in Riyadh" by Business Traveller Middle East, the leading international magazine for business travellers.
