Al-Futtaim Motors announces arrival of 2013 Lexus LX

Powertrain
Equipped with a 5.7-liter V8 engine producing 362 horsepower, the LX delivers unmatched punch and towing power within the Luxury SUV segment. Even at very low speeds, such as trail driving, the transmission operates smoothly and imperceptibly.

The LX transfer case provides full-time four-wheel drive that is equally adept at handling the rigours of UAE's desert. The system uses a TORSEN® limited-slip locking centre differential to distribute power 40:60 front-to-rear. This directs more power to the wheels for better grip.

Elegant Exterior
The 2013 LX continues to reinstate its individuality with its bold and elegant exterior. The spindle grille maintains the bold new Lexus identity in this year's model. The arrowhead shaped LED day time running lamps and BI-HID configuration on low beams enhances the LX's dynamic exterior.

The rear of the 2013 LX is equally impressive with the LED tail lamps, integrated tow hitch cover, and L-shaped design. Stainless steel accent of the bumper and 20 inch alloy wheel design also provides the 2013 LX with a muscular look and feel.

Advanced Suspension
The LX has a high-mount, independent double-wishbone front suspension. This allows for nine inches of total front wheel travel and a smooth ride over obstacles. The four-link trailing-arm rear suspension retains the solid-axle configuration for strength and durability.

The Adaptive Variable Suspension system provides three modes to control the spring rate and shock absorber damping force. This provides optimal handling and comfort for on-road or trail driving. Comfort mode provides a softer response on extremely bumpy roads. The Normal and Sport modes help provide increasingly greater levels of control for driving a heavily loaded vehicle, driving at higher speeds on paved roads, or driving on unpaved roads.

Luxurious Interior
Top of the line luxury amenities come as standard in the 2013 LX. This includes four-zone independent climate control, front power-seat cushion extenders, a rear back-up camera, nine-speaker Lexus Premium Sound system with iPod/USB connectivity, HD Radio™ iTunes tagging and Bluetooth music streaming.

The LX also features the HDD navigation system which has a touch-sensitive screen for imputing information, as well as an advanced voice-command system that allows the driver to search for destinations.
