Al Habtoor Motors Prestige Cars Division recognized as second largest Bentley dealer in world in 2012

The division not only focused on sales and product launches but also expanded its network in the UAE and added new facilities to enhance the overall customer service.

One of the other notable highlights of 2012 was the opening of Prestige Service Centre featuring the largest workshop for Bentley, Bugatti and McLaren. A true marvel in the desert, the fully air conditioned Prestige Service Centre combines the finest workshop ever built with latest equipment and a great work environment that needs to be seen and experienced firsthand. It aims to offer the clients an immediate feeling of comfort which reflects AHM's commitment to quality customer care and unswerving quest for continuous perfection while taking care of prestigious cars.

McLaren continued its growth across the UAE with the opening of the McLaren showroom in Abu Dhabi in May 2012. The guests who attended the opening had the opportunity to see the first 'pure' McLaren production road car, the award-winning MP4-12C. The guests were also able to get up close to the MP4/22 Formula 1 car, driven by Lewis Hamilton throughout the 2007 season and pivotal to Hamilton achieving six pole positions and five wins to become the most successful rookie in Formula 1 history.

In October, the Prestige Cars Division has launched the McLaren MP4 12C Spider. The first official viewing took place at XL Beach Club at Habtoor Grand Beach Resort & Spa. The exclusive event was attended by a large number of existing customers, prospects and members from the Regional Team.

On 25th September 2012, Al Habtoor Motors officially inaugurated the prestigious Bentley Showroom in Khalidiya, Abu Dhabi under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Nahayan Bin Mubarak Al Nahayan - Minister of Education and Scientific Research. It was a well attended evening with over 130 VIP guests and officials.

To mark this special occasion, the exclusive guests had the opportunity to witness two Middle East debuts of Bentley. The first launch to capture the attention of the VIP guests was the EXP 9 F SUV luxury concept. The concept SUV is Bentley's vision of an ultra-performance and ultra-luxury SUV. The concept, which is the only one in the world, has been visiting prestigious international events across the globe such as Pebble Beach Concours D' Elegance in North America, Beijing International Motor Show in China and Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK.

During the year 2012, the Prestige Cars Division also launched in the UAE the Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse. Following the success of the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport, Bugatti began the production of the Grand Sport Vitesse. Costing just under $2.5m, everything about the Vitesse lives up to its predecessors and exceeds all roadster expectations. For 10 days the Prestige Cars Division held test drives for both customers and Media throughout the UAE and the response was fantastic.

Al Habtoor Motors - Prestige Cars Division ended the year on an upbeat note with yet another high profile launch. On 11th December the much awaited Bentley Continental GT Speed was formally launched at the Bentley Showroom in Deira. The fastest, most powerful two door coupé, the Continental GT Speed features 21" wheels and lowered suspension, darkened grille and front bumper intakes glinting in the light.
