Al Hosn Gas says Shah gas project to be completed by end 2014

Abu Dhabi Gas Development Co (Al Hosn Gas), a joint venture between Abu Dhabi National Oil Co (Adnoc) and Occidental Petroleum, has said the Shah gas project is on track for completion by the end of 2014, Reuters has reported. "The facilities and pipelines are over 80 percent complete and the drilling is over one third complete," Saif Al Ghafli, CEO of Al Hosn Gas told the Middle East Petroleum and Gas Conference in the UAE capital. The project would process around one billion cubic feet a day (bcf/d) of sour gas into 0.5 bcf/d of usable gas.
