Al Jazeera to open 12 news bureaus in US

Al Jazeera Network is set to open a news bureau in the US city of Nashville, as the Doha-based broadcaster prepares for the launch of Al Jazeera America, Politico has reported, citing a source at the network. The satellite news channel is planning a total of 12 bureaus, with plans to open more after Al Jazeera America formally launches later this year, the report said.
