al khaliji preparing for the Qatar's 2nd National Sport Day

Al Khalij Commercial Bank (al khaliji) Q.S.C., in a build up to the Qatar's second National Sport Day, organized a run on February 9th at Aspire Park to raise awareness for diabetes, cancer, and heart diseases - ailments that affect a growing number of people in Qatar.

The run is the beginning of a series of activities planned under the bank's new initiative "Generation Fit", and is aimed at increasing various healthy life-style and its many benefits.

The event was lead by a professional runner to ensure that it was safe, fun, and informative for everyone.

"The Bank is fully aligned with the aims and aspirations of the Qatar National Vision 2030 to inspire future generations to take up a healthy lifestyle," said Mr. Robin McCall, al khaliji's Group Chief Executive Officer.

al khaliji's "Generation Fit' initiative falls under the bank's corporate social responsibility strategy, whereby al khaliji lends support to social, environmental, and humanitarian programs that benefit the community.
