Al Manhal is the only full-text searchable research platform for Arabic digital content. Al Manhal enables libraries and research centers to provide their patrons with access to thousands of eBooks, eJournals, and eReports from the Arab world's most authoritative publishers, universities and societies.
The company quickly followed with the launch of its Journals and eReports.
Approximately a year and a half after the launch of its products, Al Manhal is in the venerable position of counting 300 of the Arab world's most authoritative publishers of books, journals, and reports, as well as 80 leading universities among its partners and customers.
Its reach is inarguably strong, with a growing customer base of over 80 universities and research libraries around the world; including the Saudi Ministry of Higher Education, Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education, Etisalat, World Islamic University, Bahrain University, Qatar Foundation, and Georgetown University in the US.
Throughout 2012, Al Manhal attended the most renowned regional and international book fairs in Germany, USA, Lebanon, Egypt, UAE, KSA, Iraq, Bahrain, Algeria and many other countries.
Al Manhal supported its mission of moving the Arab world into the electronic publishing industry by conducting a number of electronic publishing and copyright protection workshops at many world-renowned library and publisher events, such as the Special Library Association Conference, Beirut International Book Fair, Cairo International Book Fair, AFLI, Frankfurt Book Fair, Abu Dhabi International Book Fair as well as the MELA & MESA annual conference in the US.
Al Manhal also maintained constant presence in the media to ensure that the public stayed up-to-date with its various accomplishments and achievements in both expanding its client base and delivering outstanding services.
We are proud to say that in just a year and a half in the market, we established a strong foundation of libraries accessing Arabic content, and in turn, new royalty streams (for our partners) to support the Arabic research and publishing industry. We look forward to providing exceptional service and growing our network of partners and customer, not only in 2013, but for many years to come.
