Al Meera breaks ground on new outlet

Al Meera Consumer Goods (Q.S.C) signed the constructions contract of its new branch in Hazm Al Markhiya 'AlQutaifiya', in a ceremony that including a contract signing with Al Muftah, the Qatari holding conglomerate represented by Mr.Ibrahim AbdulRahman Al Muftah the company's Executive Director.

The new branch is yet another step towards meeting Al Meera's aspirations of having their stores easily accessible to the majority of the country's residents.

"In only a few months, residents in the area of Hazm Al Markhiya "AlQutaifiya"will benefit from the array of services and products that Al Meera has to offer," said Al Meera's Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Mohammed Al Qahtani. "Our expansion strategy is in full swing, and the country will see further Al Meera outlets opening through 2015. This new branch is another testament towards our commitment to Qatar and its communities."

The Hazm Al Markhiya "AlQutaifiya" branch will be developed as per Al Meera's new concept, with the store itself occupying 500 square meters. The entire land area is 10,000 square meter plot, with 3125 square meters of built up area. Hazm Al Markhiya "AlQutaifiya" can expect to enjoy the services and products of Al Meera later next year, with construction expected to take a little over eight months.
