Al Tayer Motors launches all-new Range Rover in UAE

The UAE dealership, which won five awards from Jaguar Land Rover Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan including dealer of the year this year, launched the world's most refined and capable SUV at an elegant event held at Meydan Beach, Jumeirah Beach Residence in Dubai.

The vehicle was earlier revealed to a select audience by Premier Motors, the Abu Dhabi and Al Ain subsidiary of Al Tayer Motors, at an exclusive event in the capital city.

The evening commenced with an iconic Range Rover exhibit giving guests an insight into the vehicle's evolution throughout the years. Using a hand-crafted leather display area and digital interactive panel, the presentation also portrayed the next generation all-new Range Rover's design and luxurious features.

An additional high-impact aluminium wall was used to convey the vehicle's structure and highlight its capability and performance; giving guests the perfect opportunity to engage with the fourth generation Range Rover. Throughout the sensorial experience, guests were able to browse the options available should they choose to create a bespoke interior for the all-new Range Rover.

Speaking at the launch, Ashok Khanna, Chief Executive Officer, Al Tayer Motors, said, "Our Land Rover showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai is certified as the world's highest selling Range Rover facility - a distinction achieved five times since 2006. In the UAE, the Range Rover will be available in four trim levels - HSE, Vogue, Vogue SE and Autobiography. Bookings for the all-new Range Rover have commenced through Al Tayer Motors in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, and Premier Motors in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.

The world's first SUV with a revolutionary lightweight all-aluminium monocoque body structure is 39% lighter than the steel body in the outgoing model, enabling total vehicle weight savings of up to 420kg.

The lightweight aluminium platform has delivered significant enhancements in performance and agility, along with a transformation in fuel economy and CO2 emissions.

In addition to the strong and rigid lightweight body, new aluminium front and rear chassis architecture has been developed with completely re-engineered four-corner air suspension.

While the luxurious ride has been retained, the vehicle's handling and agility have been significantly improved. The new suspension architecture delivers flatter, more confident cornering, with natural and intuitive steering feel.

The fourth generation of the unique Range Rover line, the all-new model has been developed from the ground up, capturing the innovative spirit and iconic design of the original model, which changed the world of motoring when it was launched over 40 years ago.

The all-new Range Rover has a clean and elegant shape which is derived from a fresh interpretation of Range Rover design cues. While instantly recognisable as a Range Rover, the new vehicle takes a significant step forward with a bold evolution of the model's iconic design language.
