Al Tayer Motors sponsors high-class Dubai World Cup Carnival card

Long-term racing supporter, Al Tayer Motors is back at Meydan this Thursday with a quality six-race Dubai World Cup Carnival card that includes three Group 3 races and is worth $1,12m in prize money.
Al Tayer Motors is a regular sponsor of horseracing and also supports a domestic "Racing at Meydan" card in December as well as the 3200m stayers' race, the Group 3 $1m Dubai Gold Cup on Dubai World Cup day, March 30 2013.
Al Tayer Motors Chief Executive Officer Ashok Khanna said, "In the run-up to one of the most prestigious events on Dubai's social and event calendar, the Dubai World Cup, Al Tayer Motors together with Jaguar and Land Rover, is pleased to present an exciting evening of equestrian racing action as part of the Dubai World Cup Carnival."
"It is one of the many sporting disciplines we are associated with, and is part of our commitment to supporting sports and sporting events in the UAE," added Khanna.
Malih Al Basti, Meydan Group Board Member and Chairman of the Racing Committee, said, "Al Tayer Motors provides much-appreciated support to the racing industry every season. The company's sponsorship of racing, from our local season to the Dubai World Cup Carnival, combined with a presence on the richest day of racing in the world in the form of the Dubai Gold Cup, is testament to the commitment and vision of Al Tayer Motors."
Al Tayer Motors was established in 1982 and represents major European and American automobile manufacturers including Ford, Lincoln, Maserati, Land Rover, Jaguar, Spyker and DAF Trucks across the UAE.
Admission is free to the public areas of Meydan Racecourse and gates open at 5pm and the first race starts at 6.30pm.
