American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery Hospital honoured for obtaining international accreditation from JCI

The award ceremony was held yesterday May 16th 2012 by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA). The event was attended by Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, State minister for cabinet affairs, Essam Al Humaidan, Dubai Attorney General, Mattar Mohammed Al Tayer, Board Chairman, Executive Director of the Road and Transport Authority (RTA), Hussein Lootah, Director General of Dubai Municipality, Qadi Al Murooshid, Director General of the DHA, Sami Dhaen Al Qamzi, Director General of the Dubai Department of Economic Development and a number of officials.

The senior management of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery Hospital headed by Dr. Jeehan Abdul Qadir, Executive Chairperson received the honor on the stage.

"We are indeed proud to receive this appreciation. It is a great reward to the efforts of all the team working from day one towards assuring international quality of healthcare care is provided to all our patients" said Dr. Qadir upon receiving the honor.
The Dubai Crown Prince assured the public that the United Arab Emirates places human wellbeing on top of its priorities thru provision of needs in accordance with the world class standards.

A total of 27 healthcare institutions, both public and private, were honored along with the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery Hospital.
The American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery Hospital is the first hospital to open in Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) and the first hospital in the health free zone to receive the Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation in 2009. The hospital was named as one of the top 100 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the first ever such ranking organized by the Mohammad Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders (SME), an agency of the Department of Economic Development (DED).
