American Hospital Dubai appoints third Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) surgeon at Dubai campus

Dr. Barbaccia trained in medicine and his specialization in Otolaryngology in his native Italy before moving to the Head and Neck Department of the National Cancer Institute of Milan, and then to the UK as an ENT consultant. He is registered and licensed by the General Medical Council in the UK. Dr Barbaccia's special interests include Thyroid and Salivary gland surgery, neck lumps, and general head and neck diseases.

The ENT department at the American Hospital Dubai provides a wide range of patient services including audiology, ear surgery, surgery of the thyroid gland and tumors of the head and neck, selected facial plastic surgery, salivary gland excisional surgery, and speech, voice and swallowing therapy. In addition, the department supports the Hospital's Cochlear Implant Center of Excellence, which is one of the leading centers of its kind in the Middle East.
