Annahar Newspaper mobile app hits Apple Appstore and Google Play

Annahar Newspaper, Lebanon's leading Arabic-language daily newspaper, has officially released its mobile application for the Android and iOS platforms. The app is developed by apps2you, one of the largest and most respected Mobile Applications and Solutions Company in Lebanon & the region.
The app downloads and syncs the latest news directly to the device for online or offline reading, and offers both stories and videos of Annahar Web TV, and instant sharing of articles and photos.
Users can get breaking news alerts and be the first to read about events as soon as they occur. The app is designed for users to be able to personalize and choose their favorite categories of subjects, thus personalizing both the alerts and what they wish to display on their home screens.
The feature of user generated news gives an opportunity for people to contribute to the community awareness, and to be the ones making the news, by taking photos and instantly sending attached messages to Annahar, adding richness and interactivity to the overall storytelling experience.
Another interesting feature within the app, is the historical oath of Gebran Tueni that starts playing as soon as Annahar newspaper logo is scanned. This feature has been developed using the Qualcomm Augmented reality technology.
