Second Annual Tamkeen Business Quiz Show announced to create awareness about Tamkeen's programmes

This year's show is set to take place in December in conjunction with the Kingdom's National Day celebrations to create awareness about the various programmes on offer for individuals and enterprises. Once again, the focus of the week long contest will be to foster engagement between Bahrain's business community and the public as well as to highlight the key companies and industry sectors, which have long made the Kingdom of Bahrain a leading financial and business hub in the region.

The announcement was made at a press conference held at Seef Mall and attended by members of Tamkeen, the event's title sponsor, FinMark Communications, the event's founders and organisers, as well as other partners and members of the media.

Speaking at the conference, Mrs. Hala Sulaiman, Manager of Marketing Communications at Tamkeen, said: "Tamkeen is pleased to continue our broad ranging efforts to support Bahrain's business community. The Tamkeen Business Quiz Show will gather teams of participants from Bahrain's leading companies and see colleagues from within these organisations join hands in healthy and fun-spirited competition. The industries featured by the Show are Banking, Insurance, Telecommunications & Technology and Industrials.

Four consecutive quiz nights will be held on 2, 3, 4 and 5 December 2012, where four teams from the same industry will compete against one another in front of hundreds of viewers who will be watching the event live and following it through television, newspaper and online coverage. The Grand Finale will be held on 11 December 2012 and will see the four winning teams, representing their respective industries, compete for the top honour.

This year's Tamkeen Business Quiz Show will take place at the new extension of Seef Mall in order to maximise participation and interest in the event. The Quiz will be fully interactive. In addition to seeing teams engage in a fun filled competition, the general public will also have the chance to use their knowledge of Tamkeen and its programmes, as well as Bahraini business in general, to win prizes live at the Seef Mall shows or online through a web-based quiz challenge that will soon be launched.
