Ansell exhibits innovative new protective solutions at Intersec 2013 in Dubai

Ansell, a global leader in protection solutions, has exhibited a range of innovative new solutions for customers in the Middle East and Africa at Intersec 2013 in Dubai. Intersec is the most significant trading platform and networking event for security and safety professionals in the Middle East.

Ansell has recently expanded its product range following a number of acquisitions in 2012.

The enlarged range of existing products along with innovative new protective solutions will now be available to Ansell customers in the Middle East and Africa.

"The recent acquisitions of French hand protection specialist Comasec and Ansell Protective Solutions (formerly part of Trelleborg), has provided us with more comprehensive safety solutions that will benefit our customers in the Middle East and Africa," said Peter Dobbelsteijn, Senior Vice President & Regional Director, Ansell EMEA.

"We will achieve the goals outlined in our growth strategy by investing in research and development, embracing the latest state of the art technologies, and engaging with partners who can facilitate the swifter distribution of our innovative solutions, to our end-users," he added.

New additions to the Ansell product family, exhibited today at Intersec, include the new HyFlex 11-518 glove, the thinnest and most lightweight EN cut protection level 3 glove in the world and Comasec's new Marigold Industrial PX-218 glove which offers more dexterity than any other EN cut protection level 2 glove on the market.

Other new products exhibited by Ansell at Intersec come from the company's market leading VersaTouch, TouchNTuff and ActivArmr brands.
