Arab National Bank posts $181m in Q1 net income

Saudi-based Arab National Bank (ANB) has said its net profit for the first quarter of 2013 rose to $181m from $175m for the corresponding quarter a year ago, Arab News has reported. Total assets as on March 31, 2013 climbed 6.6% to $35.6bn, compared with $33.4bn for the same period in 2012. Total operating income for the quarter also jumped 6.1% to $338m, compared with $319m for the same quarter last year, said ANB.
