Arabsat participates in International Broadcasting Convention 2012 held in Amsterdam, Holland

Arab Satellite Communications Organization (Arabsat) participates in the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) held in Amsterdam, Holland, 6 - 11 September 2012.

This convention is considered the largest international gathering attended by a large number of Satellite TV broadcasting and Telecom officials to display the state-of-the-art technology in satellite broadcasting, besides giving many seminars and lectures relevant to such Industry.

Eng. Khalid Balkhyour, President & CEO of Arabsat, said that Arabsat presence in IBC for the 8th consecutive year, provides Arabsat with a fortunate opportunity to meet again with customers and partners from all over the world, especially through our office in Paris that acts as a link between satellite services providers in Europe, the United States and Francophone countries, who use Arabsat satellites within its vast satellite coverage, As Arabsat has strategic partnerships with many of TV broadcasters & satellite Telecommunications services providers.

He said, "Our share of this market has grown significantly over the past five years in the broadcasting and satellite telecommunications sectors and becomes a major part of Arabsat satellite capacities. We hope our presence at this conference would develop our existing partnerships and create new opportunities for Arabsat in this market."
