- PRESS RELEASE
Aruba Networks, Inc. announced two new agreements with Value-Added Distributors (VAD) in an expansion of its PartnerEdge channel programme for the Middle East Region. FVC is a specialist in the provisioning of network and security solutions and METRA is a leading technology distributor.
Aruba Networks' PartnerEdge channel programme is an EMEA-wide initiative and expansion in the Middle East is part of a strategy to broaden vertical market engagement with the region's enterprise customers, delivering complete solutions to businesses that are seeking to deploy secure wireless network access in their workplace or campus. Through PartnerEdge, Aruba aims to ensure its customers receive the right consultancy and after-sales services to support its range of leading networking solutions. METRA and FVC join mobility solutions provider, Oxygen, as authorized Value Added Distribution partners within the programme.
"We are pleased to welcome FVC and METRA to our PartnerEdge channel programme, enhancing our presence in the region through a strong distribution network. METRA's strong reseller network will help us to reach all the important segments in the market, and our agreement with FVC enhances our security systems' offering for the growing 'bring your own device' trend. We are looking forward to working closely with both companies and are confident that their services will add immense value to our solutions offerings," commented Osama AlHaj-Issa, Channel Director for Middle East and Turkey at Aruba Networks.
Aruba Networks' EMEA PartnerEdge Programme offers four levels of participation to value added distributors and resellers - Authorized, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Aruba Networks' technologies available through the distributor partnerships include the flagship Mobile Virtual Enterprise (MOVE) architecture, along with ClearPass for device discovery, onboarding, management and policy enforcement, Remote Networking, AirWave for wired and wireless networks, and Air-Mesh for secure outdoor wireless networks at a fraction of the cost of wired infrastructure.
"At a time when companies are exploring BYOD 'bring your own device' strategies for staff and providing access to their networks for guests, the challenges have never been greater and the threats more real. With Aruba Networks solutions, we can be confident in the technology we are delivering to our customers around the region and continue to build our business in this vibrant market. Aruba ClearPass Access Management System™ makes it easy for all kinds of mobile devices to securely connect to any network and we are delighted to add it to our portfolio of industry-leading technologies." said K. S. Parag, Managing Director from FVC.
"Partnering with Aruba Networks will add new and innovative next-generation network access solutions to METRA's range of IT solutions. We are seeing a lot of interest from companies seeking to harness the benefits that mobility and wireless access can bring to their business. In partnership with Aruba, we can help our current and new customers embrace this opportunity, with a solution that offers visibility, simplicity and security across wireless, wired and VPN networks. " commented Mohammed Eissa, METRA Executive Vice President.
