- PRESS RELEASE
Aruba Networks Inc. announced its collaboration with Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA) to provide secured and reliable next-generation wireless network access at the headquarters of Dubai Silicon Oasis, the integrated free zone technology park.
Aruba's collaboration with DSOA expands its portfolio of customers across the Middle East region, validating the company's strength in providing solutions that support the concept of remote working.
Abdulsalam Al Bastaki, Vice-President for IT at Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority, said: "Aruba Networks approached us with a value-for-money proposal and comprehensive solution incorporating design, hardware, firewall, and management. This will allow DSOA to put in place a state-of-the-art Wi-Fi solution that supports multiple applications and services. We are confident the new system will offer us the flexibility to provide our staff and guests with secured and regulated access to our network."
Ammar Enaya, General Manager for Middle East at Aruba Networks, said: "Working with DSOA demonstrates our understanding of the demands placed on a wireless network by a government sector organisation, particularly the need for highly secure and controlled access within a cost effective solution. Aruba Networks' implementation additionally reiterates that tools allowing complete control seamlessly ease the management of wireless networks within a sensitive environment."
Further to the current project, DSOA and Aruba Networks will collaborate to sublet Wi-Fi network to DSOA tenants, offer voice-over wireless options, and enable additional expansion on indoor Wi-Fi for internal users and guests.
