Ashghal open all underpasses on Salwa Road

Qatar's Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced all the new underpasses on the Salwa Road on both sides of the highway are now open, easing the free flow of traffic, the Peninsula has reported. The Salwa road project comprises some seven kilometres of dual carriageway. The main line will feature eight lanes, four lanes in each direction separated by a median with continuous service roads, as well as four two-level interchanges. Providing a strategic corridor between Doha and the Saudi Arabian border, the Salwa Road project is an integral part of Ashghal's Expressway Programme.
