- Saudi Arabia: Saturday, January 19 - 2013 at 01:50
Saudi-based United Wire Factories Co (Aslak) has said its net income for the quarter ended December 31, 2012 surged 105.7% to SR32.3m from SR15.7m for the same quarter a year earlier. The rise was attributed to the decline of the raw material prices during the fourth quarter and due to increase of sales. Full-year net income rose 6% to SR116.6m, compared with a net income of SR106.9m for the same period of the last year, said Aslak.
