- PRESS RELEASE
Aston Martin, the quintessentially British auto marque, starts its centenary celebrations in style on Jan 15th, 2013 at the world's most recognizable luxury destination, the Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is one of the most important markets for Aston Martin, which has dealerships in Al Khobar, Jedda and Riyadh, and customers including some of the highest net worth individuals in the country.
From the helipad at the Burj Al Arab, Aston Martin CEO Dr. Ulrich Bez , known for racing the globally renowned marque on the circuits of Europe, will usher in a new century of handmade luxury for the brand, reiterating the values of Aston Martin's heritage, and committing the company to another 100 years at the cutting edge of auto design and production.
One of the UAE's premier skydivers will then parachute into the celebrations in a real life reflection of the central stunt of the London 2012 opening ceremony.
The film crew responsible for the jaw-dropping Dubai scenes from the latest Mission Impossible film will capture the action for Reuters TV, and photographic images will be available via Associated Press. All materials will be available from 4pm (AST) Jan 15th.
