- PRESS RELEASE
Aston Martin, the world-renowned sports luxury automotive brand, announced they will be opening a standalone service center on Sheikh Zayed Road by mid 2013. This service center will be the first facility servicing strictly Aston Martin customers in the UAE, and follows the recent opening of Aston Martin's Dubai Showroom in Downtown Dubai.
The new Service Center will meet all of the International CI requirements and standards, keeping up to par with Aston Martin standards and customer expectations.
The Center will be a Category A service center, allowing for the highest level of services within the aftersales field. The Aston Martin Dubai Service Center will furthermore be the only One-77 approved maintenance and repair center in the region.
Aston Martin Dubai General Manager Tim Trenker commented on the new showroom and the imminent opening of new service center in the Emirate: "We are relaunching the Aston Martin brand with a new dealership here in Dubai and now, in conjunction with a new service center, we will have the opportunity to set new standards for the company—to start off on a clean slate."
To assist in the reformation of the brand in the region, Aston Martin Dubai is further focusing on enhancing customers' aftersales experience by implementing a new set of warranties for new car buyers. The company currently offers a three year unlimited mileage factory warranty on new cars covering standard industry points, and Aston Martin Dubai has employed a three year service contract that will cover the basic services required to retain the factory warranty and will allow for customers' piece of mind in terms of cost of ownership.
Aston Martin has also globally applied a Regional Warranty, which protects individual dealers from cross-border sales or grey imports. "This warranty will be a very strong factor for all the new cars delivered from Aston Martin Dubai," stated Trenker. "This will consequently raise the residual values of the cars in the future," he added.
The Service Center will be a full-service facility that will strive to find the fastest and most suitable solution to meet each customer's individual needs. The parts department will have parts in stock at all times for most foreseeable services, but will also utilize Aston Martin's advanced ordering system allowing them to quickly order parts that may be out of stock at any given time with a three to four day turnaround from the UK factory.
The Center is planning to operate during normal business hours, but to offer at-home or at-work pick-up and drop-off services as well as Aston Martin's very own twenty-four hour recovery solution phone number with a highly qualified aftersales team to ensure that issues are handled on a case by case basis.
"Aftersales is the heart of the business and selling a car is just the beginning of the customer's journey," commented Trenker. "It is the aftersales services that really retain a customer with the brand. We are confident that providing a new, state of the art service center with the highest standards is the right investment for the future of Aston Martin in Dubai and for our customers so that we can offer the best possible aftersales service and overall Aston Martin experience," he added.
