AUB to launch first Project Management Postgraduate Diploma in region

The American University of Beirut Continuing Education Center (AUB-CEC) in collaboration with CMCS will officially launch 'The Region's 1st Project Management Postgraduate Diploma' on Friday, March 15th, 2013 during an exclusive event held at AUB's Charles Hostler Student Center from 1:00 - 2:30pm.
The Project Management (PM) Postgraduate diploma is composed of 11 components, divided over two parts: PM Certification (5 Workshops) and a Diploma Focus (5 courses + 1 final graduation project) from among 4 possible tracks:
Enterprise and Project Risk Management
Project Management Office (PMO) and Program Management
Engineering Project Controls
Business Development & Entrepreneurship
Other Customized tracks might be developed for Health, Government, Oil & Gas or other specific industries
The courses and workshops are delivered in an executive education style, similar to EMBA programs worldwide. Courses are delivered once a month over 3 days. The PM Diploma entitles the attendee to acquire one or more of the following international certificates offer by PMI, AACE, and IIBA, such as: PMI-PgMP, PMI-RMP, PMI-SP, EVP, CCE, CBAP, GPM, PMOC and other ones. Moreover, the PMP/CAPM is a co-requisite to acquire the Project Management Certification.
The event will host four speakers:

• Bassam Samman - CEO of CMCS
• Saadi Adra - General Manager of CMCS Lebanon
