AUD announces new Associate Dean in the School of Business Administration

He joins Dr. Susan Montaquila, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, in the day-to-day running of the School.

Dr. Jihad Nader, Provost/Chief Academic Officer at AUD, describes Mr. Kapoor as "dynamic, energetic, an excellent communicator, a resourceful problem solver, affable, effective, and gifted with outstanding people skills. These are some of the attributes that made Mr. Kapoor stand out during his years as AUD's HR Director."

Mr. Raj Kapoor was AUD's first Human Resources Director and distinguished himself in that position for nearly eight years. He holds a MBA in International Business from the American InterContinental University, London, a Postgraduate diploma in Management Research from the University of Bradford, School of Management, and a Graduate Human Resources Management Certificate from the University of Phoenix.

The announcement was followed by Mr. Kapoor's comments that expressed his feeling: "The American University in Dubai (AUD) was the reason my family and I moved to the UAE from London 13 years ago. AUD was our first home in Dubai, and my first love; my family and I have many fond and fantastic memories. It is therefore a great source of pride, joy, and honor to be invited back "home". I passionately look forward to the challenges of my new role; I am particularly looking forward to getting reacquainted with old friends and joining new colleagues to continue AUD's great journey."

The Mission of the School of Business Administration (SBA) at AUD is to provide UAE, GCC and international students with high-quality, forward-looking, career-oriented educational programs in the management of business organizations, with the option of selecting concentrations in one or more functional areas of business management.
