Audi Oman conducts Road Show for Oman Air staff

The trained staff from Wattayah Motors, the official dealers for Audi in Oman, showcased the A4 and A6 to the staff and also conducted test drive sessions for both vehicles.

Commenting on the event, Abdel Karim Awwad, National Sales and Marketing Manager of Audi Oman, said "The idea of personalized Road Shows such as this one, strikes a significant chord with the participants. While the Internet is an easy source of information and plays an important role today; personal contact, a first-hand look and personal time behind the wheel and face-to-face conversations with experts however cannot be replaced."

The Audi A4 was updated just last year. Its new drivetrain, chassis and infotainment solutions, along with an even more attractive design, attest the "Vorsprung durch Technik" achieved by the new Audi A4. Now in the eight generation, the A4 is the worldwide best-selling Audi model and has been met with similar response here in Oman. The updated Audi A4 is available with a 1.8 TFSI entry level engine with 120 hp and a higher-powered 1.8 TFSI, which produces 170 hp. A 2.0 TFSI with 211 hp and quattro four-wheel drive, as well as a top of the line 3.0 TFSI quattro, which has a supercharged V6 producing 272 hp, are also available.

The Audi A6 was the other model showcased to the staff at the Road Show. As the successor to the world's most successful executive sedan, the A6 is high-tech even in the business class. With its light body, sporty chassis and a wide array of new assistance and multimedia systems, the executive sedan features groundbreaking solutions in every area of technology. Its long engine hood, the low, taut roof line and the sharp lines create a dynamic overall impression. Up front, optional LED headlights underscore the distinctive appearance. Thanks to an intelligent composite construction concept, the body is extremely lightweight, rigid and safe.

The Audi A6 is available with three powerful and highly efficient four and six-cylinder engines - a base model 2.0 TFSI with 180 hp and a 2.8 FSI with 204 hp; and a 3.0 TFSI with 310 hp. The latter two models also come with quattro four-wheel drive.
