The Autumn Fair 2013 which is being held under the patronage of Dr. Hassan Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce Chairman of the Board of Bahrain Exhibition and Convention Authority, opens on Wednesday, 23 January 2013 at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.
The most popular and most important consumer show will run for 9 nine days from 23 to 31 January 2013 showcasing thousands of products from around the globe under one roof ranging from specialty food, fashion and textiles, furniture, techno toys, gadgets and many more at very competitive prices.
The importance of this highly popular event is its direct support to the local trade, the business and tourism sectors and contribution to the revitalization of the commercial market and promotion of Bahrain as a trade and tourism centre.
The Autumn Fair, in its 24th successful year, consistently attracts in the region of 180 thousand local and international visitors and shoppers, a large proportion of these visitors come from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The countries participating in this year's event include Bahrain, Bangladesh, China, Egypt, Kuwait, Lebanon, Malaysia, Oman, Pakistan, Poland, Uganda, India Tunisia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Syria, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and Yemen with pavilions from China, Egypt, Kuwait, Turkey, Syria, United Arab Emirates and Pakistan.
