Averda recognizes G4S as first security organization in Qatar to adopt recycling initiative

The deal saw G4S place environmentally friendly recycling bins at its head-quarters and one of its labor camps, as a first step of a full and comprehensive recycling programme to cover G4S's entire structure in all its 47 locations.

Averda MD, Mr. Tarek Khouri presented G4S Qatar MD Dr. Saif Al Hajri with the award at the G4S headquarters in Doha. Mr. Mahjoub Adam, G4S HR Manager, received the award on behalf of the company.

Mr. Khouri emphasized the importance of this step saying: "Averda realizes the environmental responsibility and recognizes its partners who are contributing to the efforts and measures taken to conserve our environment for generations to come. G4S is the first security group to address this area head on, and we are confident that their efforts will make a significant impact in fostering an environmentally friendly attitude among its staff."
