AWAL provides tech support for First International Conference on Assessment and Evaluation

Through its support of the three-day event, AWAL aimed to develop its services, stay abreast of current events and leading technologies, as well as support the educational sector by showing strong interest in measurement and evaluation fields, given the importance of quality control and measurement in achieving high efficiency in the educational system, monitoring performance and linking it to global indicators.

The First International Conference on Assessment & Evaluation highlighted one of the most important topics of measurement and evaluation, the "Higher Education Admission Requirements", which consisted of five main themes: Admission tests: Theoretical and practical foundations for selecting suitable assessment forms to build admission tests, Scoring and Analyzing Tests, Test Administration, International Practices in Admission Criteria, and Admission Tests and the Society. 53 papers on University Admission Tests were also discussed during conference.

The conference also aimed to enrich the technical aspects of the admission tests and its criteria. It further strived to highlight the scientific and practical aspects to the field specialists and the society in general, by reviewing international best practices, in addition to developing studies to showcase local experiences.
