AWAL provides tech support for First International Conference on Assessment and Evaluation

AWAL, the IT services provider, has provided technical support for the First International Conference on Assessment & Evaluation which was held from the 2nd to the 4th of December 2012 (18 to 20 Muharram), under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, at the King Faisal Conference Hall, Intercontinental Hotel in Riyadh.
The First International Conference on Assessment & Evaluation highlighted one of the most important topics of measurement and evaluation, the "Higher Education Admission Requirements", which consisted of five main themes: Admission tests: Theoretical and practical foundations for selecting suitable assessment forms to build admission tests, Scoring and Analyzing Tests, Test Administration, International Practices in Admission Criteria, and Admission Tests and the Society. 53 papers on University Admission Tests were also discussed during conference.
The conference also aimed to enrich the technical aspects of the admission tests and its criteria. It further strived to highlight the scientific and practical aspects to the field specialists and the society in general, by reviewing international best practices, in addition to developing studies to showcase local experiences.
