Shahab Lutfi, CEO of H&H Investment and Development, said, "Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach is a prestigious project and we are delighted to have been appointed by Bright Start to bring to life the Four Seasons resort."
He added, "We have selected some of the world's leading consultants and contractors to ensure that Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach delivers the unprecedented sense of luxury to Dubai. From the architectural beauty of the exterior and innovative interior design to the practical aspects such as its location and amenities, the resort is set to raise the bar for luxury resorts in the region even higher."
The project is positioned as a luxury urban beach resort situated a stone's throw from the new heart of Dubai around the Burj Khalifa, with uninterrupted views of the sea on one side and a glittering vista of Dubai's skyline on the other.
The wide range of guest amenities includes three hotel restaurants, a lobby-level coffee lounge and a rooftop venue and a unique Food & Beverage Village situated on Beach Road, which will provide a selection of destination dining experiences accessible by both, resident Hotel guest and the public.
The 270 m² Beach Club and 700 m² Health Club feature a temperature controlled indoor pool, tennis courts with pro shop and gym and spinning studio in addition to two large outdoor pools and children's entertainment centre. The resort also features a 740m² luxury spa with a comprehensive bouquet of fully equipped treatment rooms and facilities such as treatment suites with private gardens. The Ballroom and meeting rooms provide a wide range of choices for events and business meetings including a 400-seat Banquet Hall, a smaller 110 seat function room and several boardroom style meeting rooms.
Design:
BAMO, the award-winning San Francisco interiors firm with a portfolio spanning 17 countries on 5 continents, were tasked with designing Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach as their first project in the region.
The BAMO team, led by Principal Michael Booth, took inspiration from Dubai's cosmopolitan allure, vibrant culture, and stunning views of the Arabian Gulf. The result is a light, airy, and elegant 5-star urban resort.
The building's exterior is Andalusian, the Spanish Islamic style familiar within the region. The lobby of Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach is nothing short of palatial.
Ceiling heights soar to 10 meters and the entire space is wrapped in honed, crema marfil marble. With incredible views of the Arabian Gulf, the lobby rotunda serves as the heart of the hotel.
An octagonal dome glows softly as light bounces off of its silver leaf finish. The balustrade, which wraps the stair leading to the lower level, includes custom blown-glass balusters from Italy and a handrail of rich black lacquer.
Underfoot, a polished cream marble floor is accented with a dark stone geometric pattern. Arched windows and passageways juxtapose the large, modern rectangular main entryway to the Lobby Lounge.
The Lounge is an important gathering space for business as well as social occasions. Eight columns of Kenyan black marble define the space, while the driftwood-washed, wood ceiling designed in an Arabian geometric pattern provides a traditional reference.
Furniture is upholstered in a calming palette of whites and creams accented by luxurious blues and a hint of gold, with colors paying homage to the resort's waterfront setting. An Italian mosaic marble mural behind the coffee lounge at the far end of the room creates a striking focal point, but the real view is the sea that lies beyond the full-height glass wall to the west.
Opposite the Lobby Lounge, the Lobby Cafe offers visitors a more intimate conversation space, with framed views of the ocean beyond. With rich, fumed oak walls, inset aubergine leather panels, and boxy club chairs with nail-head detailing, the space is reminiscent of a lushly appointed gentlemen's club.
From the Banquet Lobby at the end of the Gallery, a grand stair leads down to a small garden and expansive banquet facilities. Wrapping the stair, inset within the marble columns, a geometric, almost floral wall covering of silver, blue, and cream shimmers from the light of the cascading Venetian glass chandelier.
An over-scaled, custom plaster balustrade and deep cobalt blue carpet runner set against cream marble treads add additional drama to the voluminous space.
The membership health club, beach club and spa, include polished marble floors, cylindrical stone columns, and a plaster and mosaic dome punctuated by rays of light.
With its unparalleled location, fresh opulent design, and finely appointed details, Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach is expected to rise to the top of the ultra-luxury and ultra-competitive Dubai market.
