Axiom Telecom first to sell iPad Mini in Middle East

Weighing in at a mere 308g, the iPad Mini is just 0.28-inch thick - the width of a pencil - and 23% thinner than the regular iPad.

The iPad Mini comes with a 7.9-inch screen with 1,024-by-768 pixel resolution and 163-pixels-per-inch density.

Other features include two HD cameras; the front is 1.2 megapixels while the back camera is 5 megapixels -- the same as on the fourth-generation iPad.

Axiom Telecom is currently selling the 16GB WiFiiPad Mini for AED 1,799, and is also offering a part exchange service for customers wanting to trade in their old tablets.
