Bahrain Bay Development signs agreement with Abu Dhabi Sport Channels

Bahrain Bay Development, the $2.5bn project located on the north-east shore of Manama has announced the signing of an agreement with Abu Dhabi Sport Channels, allowing the opportunity of broadcasting all football matches and activities during the Gulf Cup (Bahrain 21) from the Bahrain Bay Site.
The decision nonetheless was made after a team from Abu Dhabi Sport Channels researched a number of locations and sites which could be consistent with the aspirations and standards of Abu Dhabi Sport Channels as well as a unique location that meets the satisfaction of Abu Dhabi Sport Channels viewers across the world.
Head of sport production and operation at Abu Dhabi Media, Mr. Khalil Al Saffar expressed his gratitude and happiness of discovering such a unique site. "I am thankful to Bahrain Bay for approving our request in broadcasting the Gulf Cup (Bahrain 21) from their attractive waterfront location that meets our technical and broadcasting standards."
Mr. Abdulla Faisal Al Doseri, Bahrain Bay's Deputy Chief Executive Officer also expressed his gladness that Bahrain Bay was chosen for such an honorable event as the Gulf Cup (Bahrain 21). "Abu Dhabi Sport Channels are one of the world's leading channels and I am truly privileged that they chose Bahrain Bay to be the centre of the broadcast. I wish them all the success in the future as well as the Gulf Cup (Bahrain 21)," added Mr. Al Doseri.
The agreement between the two parties included, as Abu Dhabi Sport Channels will be allowed to use the grounds of Bahrain Bay to broadcast the Gulf Cup (Bahrain 21) during the mentioned period as well as providing the technical services, support and safety measures required from Bahrain Bay in smoothing the process. It will be in return for Abu Dhabi Sport Channels to provide Bahrain Bay with media coverage and advertising the development and progress of the project.
Abu Dhabi Sport Channels proceeded with the transfer of equipment to the Bahrain Bay Site as well as the building and fixing of necessary technical support required for the completion of the studio, all in preparation for the upcoming Gulf Cup (Bahrain 21).
