Bahrain to build BD5.4m seafront

The municipality of Bahrain's capital city, Manama, is set to launch next year construction works on one of the kingdom's biggest seafronts. Work on the BD5.4m ($14.21m) King Faisal Corniche project was due to begin two years ago, but was stalled as work on a major road expansion project. It will comprise a theme park and tourist attractions, family facilities, restaurants, recreational outlets and a 1km walkway, green areas and a plants nursery.
