During her opening remarks, Ambassador Nonoo highlighted the culture of religious tolerance Bahrain has cultivated.

Dr. Mohamed Elsanousi, who also serves as the Community Relations Director of the Islamic Society of North America, noted the importance of the Campaign's September 2010 summit during which 40 interfaith religious leaders called upon their followers to combat anti-Muslim sentiment.

Reverend Richard Cizik, the co-founder of the New Evangelical Partnership, emphasized the role interfaith dialogue plays in combating anti-Muslim extremism in his remarks to the group.
