Bahrain to host eShabab 2013

Bahrain is going the host eShabab 2013 in summer under the Patronage of his highness Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Minister of State for Communications Affairs.

The event that will come this year along with an innovation in technology conference will be organized by Work Smart for events management and held in Bahrain exhibition and convention center in the days between July 1- 3, 2013.

The event aims to encourage youth to innovate, compete and make use of their hidden potentials through developing technological innovative projects.

And it will also provide needed marketing to those projects that are highly expected to success. The alongside annual innovation in technology conference will focus on the latest trends in innovation, and will have more than twenty guest speakers from around the world.

It is worth to mention that this is the third version of the event which has been organized by Gulf Future Business Company earlier in 2009 and 2010, however this one is expected to be the largest among all, as its not only a youth competition but an international conference, full day workshops, and discussion sessions between youth innovators and private sector as well.

Many universities in the kingdom of Bahrain have shown interest in participation, whereby their students will showcase innovative projects in the field of information and communication technology. Winning projects are going to be awarded.

On the occasion, CEO of Work Smart Mr. Ahmed Al Hujairy stated, "I would like to thank the Minister of State for Communications Affairs H.E. Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa for his patronage of the event, and I would like to thank the universities in the Kingdom of Bahrain for their cooperation and interest in eShabab competition."

Stressing on the ultimate objective of the event he added, "The main goal of eShabab is to involve people in the process of growth, through encouraging them to be creative, through transforming their outcomes into competing products in the national and international markets, through putting more attention in innovation and through encouraging the private sector to use innovations of Bahraini youth."
