Bahrain Industry and Commerce Minister receives SBI delegation

Industry and Commerce Minister Dr. Hassan Fakhro received SBI Pharmaceuticals delegation Mr. Yoshitaka Kitao, R Director, President and CEO and representative Director and COO Mr. Satofumi Kawata and Mr. Riyadh N. Rehani, Ph. D., Global Vice President for R & D in presence with Ambassador to Japan Dr. Khalil Hassan.

During the meeting, the Minister praised the efforts made by the leaderships and the governments of Bahrain and Japan to enhance economic cooperation mechanisms between them especially during the visit of His Majesty the King to Japan, which had a deep impact in strengthening the bond of mutual relations particularly the economic relations.

The minister pointed in this regard to follow up the results of the visits and what emerged from joint projects and understandings between the two countries.

In this context, the minister commended the technical level that characterizes SBI medical products which specialized in manufacture chronic diseases treatments. Dr. Fakhro stressed in this regard kingdom's keenness to cooperate with this company like other international companies specialized in this aspect.

Mr. Yoshitaka Kitao reviewed features of medical products produced by the company and distributed to a large number of countries in the world, pointing to the company's determination to establish a factory in Bahrain.

During the meeting, The Ministry gave a presentation on investment climate in additional to the potential and incentive offered by the government of the Kingdom of Bahrain for investors within and outside the kingdom which contributes in attracting foreign projects.

From their part, the delegation thanks and appreciates government and the ministry for all efforts made in order to establish economic cooperation between Bahrain and Japan.
