Bahrain to receive $2.5bn grant from UAE

The Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) has signed a memorandum of understanding on a $2.5bn grant committed by the UAE to Bahrain as part of the Gulf country's contribution through the Development Programme of the GCC, Emirates 24-7 has reported. Under the initiative, donor countries including the UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Qatar would provide development funds to countries in the region.
