Bahrain receives $273m grant from KFAED

The Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) has provided a grant of $273m to the Bahraini government to fund two projects in the kingdom, Kuna has reported. The first project involves expanding and upgrading Bahrain's electricity network and aims to reduce power outages and facilitate the linking of the network the GCC grid, while the second project involves building facilities for people with disabilities over two years at an overall cost of $23m that will be totally covered by a grant from Kuwait.
