Bahrain to restructure health ministry

The Bahraini cabinet has approved the cancellation of the Licensor and Registration Office and the Pharmacy and Drug Control Directorate, as part of a plan to restructure the health ministry, Daily Tribune has reported. The cabinet is also considering including sickle cell patients in the National Plan to Combat Hereditary Diseases to enhance therapeutic services provided for them and increase funds for treatment outside the kingdom.
