Bank Sohar joins hands with Muscat Festival 2013

As part of Bank Sohar's continued programme to support social and national events in the Sultanate, the bank is participating in the Muscat Festival 2013 as part of bank's CSR commitments.
"What makes Bank Sohar distinctive is our constant effort to connect with our customers and the Omani community in general. Events of national significance, such as the Muscat Festival, give us the opportunity to promote everything that is unique about Oman. The festival also provides a platform to exhibit the Bank's products and services as well as strengthen our relationship with customers and visitors," he said.
He added, "Muscat Festival is one of the most important events in our calendar - it celebrates the culture and heritage of Oman and highlights the tremendous progress that has been achieved year on year. Thanks to the efforts of the team at the Muscat Municipality who have ensured that the Muscat Festival gains recognition with the local and international media as well as attracting more visitors each year."
The month long national festival will be held at Al Amerat Natural Park and Naseem Park - two of Oman's most loved public locations and runs from January 30 until February 28.
Commenting on the festival, Mr. Khalfan Rashid Al Tal'ey, DGM - Retail Banking, said, "We will have members from the bank present at Al Amerat Natural Park to personally interact with the visitors and to provide with all information about the Bank's products and services, including a new saving scheme, the attractive details of which we will soon announce. The bank is also planning to conduct several activities with special giveaways, surprises and offers for our valued customers."
In line with Bank Sohar's objective to strive to maintain and further enhance their position as one of Oman's leading banks, partnerships and associations such as these reinforce the Bank's commitment to engage with the community and provide the finest banking solutions. Through the partnership with the Muscat Festival, Bank Sohar aspires to promote Oman as one of the key tourist destinations in the region.
