Bank Sohar leaders discuss strategy for 2013

Branch leaders from Bank Sohar recently held their first meeting of 2013, headed by Khalfan Rashid Al Taley, DGM of Retail Banking at Bank Sohar, along with Salim Al Maskary, AGM -Branches at Bank Sohar, at the Bank's Learning Centre located in Qurum.

Commenting on the success of the meeting, Khalfan Rashid Al Taley noted "It is a real privilege to work with such an enthusiastic and hardworking team, they were instrumental in achieving the excellent results attained by the bank for the financial year ending December 31, 2012, I look forward to working with them to further reinforce Bank Sohar's position as one of Oman's leading banks in 2013."

The branch leaders met to reflect on the outstanding growth of the Bank Sohar business for the year 2012. They also reviewed new customer service initiatives and the overall strategic plan for the current year.

The meeting commenced with a message of thanks given by Khalfan Rashid Al Taley, DGM of Retail Banking and the senior management, owing all credit to the branch leaders and their respective teams for the success and growth of the bank.

Thanking the participants for their unwavering support and cooperation in achieving the goals set for the bank in 2012, Khalfan Al Taley urged the branch leaders to continue working as a team in order to overcome the market challenges expected in 2013.

Participants were advised on the importance of achieving the ongoing customer satisfaction strategy and an emphasis was placed on the consistent efforts required by the managers and their team to successfully accomplish the growth objectives laid out for the bank.

The Meeting concluded with Khalfan Rashid Al Taley and Salim Al Maskary advising the leaders to focus on further improving customer satisfaction.

"As per the strategy, we will champion initiatives and policies to further grow our customer satisfaction and provide them with ever improving range of services personally catering to their requirements. This will serve to meet the bank's key objective - to excel together with our customers and partners in business," concluded Al Taley.
