Egyptian lender Banque Misr has obtained the central bank's approval to open an office in Turkey, Mena has reported. The move aims to facilitate the commercial exchange between Egypt and Turkey in the coming period, said the bank's chairman, Mohamed Barakat. The bank is currently considering increasing its Dhs180m capital in the UAE, as a part of an integral plan to boost its performance in the Emirati market, following the opening of two new branches in Lebanon last September.
