Baroody celebrates its 100 years in business

Chairman of Baroody Holding, Mr. Nadim Baroody, welcomed the guests and said, "This day validates the efforts we have been exerting since 1912, as we were able to overcome all the obstacles and difficulties and continue to prosper in a competitive industry."

He carried on, "We are proud of our history. But this celebration is as much about our future as it is about our past. Today, we have confidence in the younger generation who will take over the helm and continue the path of success, opening new horizons and expanding our companies' perspectives."

Also commenting on the occasion, Mr. Emile Baroody, Vice President of Baroody Group S.A.L said, "We've had the fortune to be surrounded by great mentors, my father and forefathers, and we surround ourselves with great loyal employees and supportive, trustful customers. The family is proud to carry the beacon forward for hopefully many more years of business and success."

The centennial gala dinner did not disappoint its guests, as it was filled with festivities including live entertainment, a welcome techno Dabkeh dance, live bands and outstanding jazz singers. Prior to the appetizing dinner which included specialty dishes from around Lebanon, a heart-felt video was presented enrapturing guests on a 100-year journey of history, hardships and successes. The outstandingly inspiring video paid tribute to Baroody's - and Lebanon's - oldest secretary who has been with the company for an impressive 57 years.
