BAS Mall says 61% of GLA operational

The investment arm of the Abu Dhabi's Baniyas Sports Club, Baniyas Investment and Development Co, has announced that more than 61% of the gross leasable area (GLA) at the Bawabat Al Sharq Mall (BAS Mall) is now operational, Khaleej Times has reported. The number of stores that are currently open at the mall has reached 110 with additional stores opening on weekly basis, said BAS Mall director, Antony Ranger. BAS Mall is part of the BAS Project, the mixed-use complete community project which spreads over 108 hectares in Bani Yas City. The mall will host over 240 prime retail shops and facilities.
