BASF opens CSB plant in Bahrain

German chemical firm BASF has opened a production plant for customer specific antioxidant blend (CSB) in Bahrain. Touted as the largest of its kind worldwide, the facility is based at Bahrain International Investment Park (BIIP) and will provide local production and services to the fast growing polymer market in the Middle East with special focus on key customers in the countries of the GCC, said BASF.
