Batelco announces new SMS Challenge

Following the success of the company's recent SMS Challenge when 60 customers won cash prizes, Batelco has announced a new SMS Challenge. The new Challenge will run from September 3rd to November 18th giving 78 customers the chance to win daily and weekly prizes.

Additionally, there will be two Grand Prizes when two customers will win a BMW Z4 each plus a trip to the BMW World in Munich.

Batelco mobile subscribers will receive a text message inviting them to participate in the challenge. Alternatively, customers can participate by simply sending 'B' to 95555.

For each correct answer, the participants will earn 20 points, while incorrect or invalid answers will still give them 10 points.

Additionally, customers will receive points to download one full track of music from Rotana or wallpaper for every SMS sent. Cost of participation is 490 fils per SMS.

The more the customer participates, the more chances to win. Customers with a higher number of points will have great chances to win daily, weekly and the two BMW prizes.

The raffle is automatically conducted and winners are selected based on the above criteria.

"We were very pleased with the huge success of our recent SMS Challenge which ran from April to June and so many customers have requested that we repeat such a great prize winning opportunity," said Batelco Group General Manager Media Relations Ahmed Al Janahi.

"In the last Challenge, a few customers won more than one prize as they kept answering and playing the amazing competition. However, the more points a customer accumulates, the more entries he or she has in the draw, therefore giving a better chance to win the great cash prizes," added Mr. Al Janahi.
