Batelco-sponsored Imam Hussain Clinic officially opened by Minister of Health

The Batelco-sponsored Imam Hussain Clinic was officially opened on Tuesday 20th November by the Minister of Health Sadiq Al Shehabi and Head of Jaffaria Waqf Directorate, S. Hussain Al Alawi.

The Clinic, which is sponsored by Batelco, is opened each year during the period of Muharram to attend to the health needs of those participating in the commemoration of Ashoora.

Batelco Group General Manager Media Relations Ahmed Al Janahi said that Batelco is very pleased to sponsor the Imam Hussain clinic on an annual basis.

"The clinic annually tends to a large number of minor and major medical issues that arise during the key religious events taking place in the Manama area. It is vitally important to have such a facility in this location as due to the large crowds it is difficult to get access to the Health Centres or hospitals," he said.
