Bawadi Mall sets new record in visitor numbers in August

The mall saw a 34% in number of visitors over the corresponding period of August 2011. Many tenants also reported record sales in the month.

The mall management attributed this success to the variety of family entertaining activities that took place in August.

Khalid Shraim, Senior Marketing Manager, Bawadi Mall, said: "We organized a wide range of activities that attracted shoppers throughout the month. Most of our 400-odd tenants expressed satisfaction over the increase in sales during the period."

Bawadi Mall hosts a variety of sporting, healthcare and social events, attracting a huge number of people for entertainment and shopping.

Shraim added: "August marked the conclusion of our "Win & Go High Tech" campaign, which entitled shoppers to enter daily raffle draws to win Apple products. We also hosted Ettihad Tangier Group of Arabs Got Talent show, in addition to the Lebanese Circus show which attracted thousands of spectators."

According the mall management, these activities boosted the overall tourism sector of Al Ain city and formed part of the mall's policy of providing entertainment in an ideal shopping environment, complemented by a social commitment to provide community activities.

Shraim said: "We received visitors from Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia."

Apart from the series of initiatives run by the mall throughout August, Bawadi Mall features a varied mix of fun spread over 10 thousand sqm, ranging from the "Roller Coaster" to the "Fun Ski Village" which was recently switched from artificial skating rink to a real-ice skating rink, amongst many other attractions.

Eight movie theatres, including Grand Class Hall, a bowling alley, a distinctively rich food-court and several casual dining alternatives offering delicious varieties of cuisines, make a visit to Bawadi Mall a worthwhile and exciting experience.
