Turkish Embassy: Commercial exchange between Saudi Arabia and Turkey, with 20% increase

An official from the Embassy of Turkey in Riyadh expressed his delight over the rapid and remarkable improvement in the economic relations between Saudi Arabia and Turkey, stating that the volume of commercial exchange between the two countries has exceeded $8bn by the end of last year with an annual increase of 20%, and citing that Saudi Arabia is a very important economic partner for the Republic of Turkey and one of its top eight business partners in the world.

Mr. Sadri Altinock, the Plenipotentiary Minister at the Embassy of Turkey in Riyadh, lauded during the event held by Al-Babtin Trading for launching "BECO" products in the Kingdom, the developments Saudi Arabia has witnessed in all aspects and the solidity of the Saudi economy and its capability to accommodate more investments and avail business opportunities due to the prevalent distinguished environment and firmness of the State's economic policy. The Minister unveiled his country's desire to boost Turkish investments in the Kingdom in all fields, indicating the rise in Saudi non-oil products to Turkey during the period 2009 to 2013 three times by a rate of 2.2 billion US Dollar with Turkish exports to the Kingdom have doubling to 3.7 billion US Dollar.

The Plenipotentiary Minister called the Saudi-Turkish business sector to strengthen the economic relations between the two countries which are developing every day, pointing out to the fact that the leaders of both countries are sparing no effort in order to dedicate all investment capabilities and remove all obstacles facing investors in both countries.

For his part Mr. Abdul Karim Al-Babtin, Chairman of Al-Babtin Trading Company praised the partnership between Al-Babtin Trading & "BECO" which represents one of the best international brands that have the ability to provide quality products to customers in the Saudi market given the fact that this company is a pioneer in research work, improvement, patents, and smart solutions friendly to the environment and these are the factors that are badly needed by the Saudi customer; reaffirming that the strategic relation between "BECO" and Al-Babtin Trading is supported by the strategic orientation of the Kingdom in developing the commercial relations with Turkey being one of the strategic countries.

Mr. Shirzat Subachi, the General Manager of Archlic [BECO] expressed his happiness for "BECO" launching its business in the Saudi market which would boost its position in the Middle East considering the great potentials in this region; emphasizing that "BECO" would undoubtedly become one of the most important trade marks in the Saudi market as it did in other international markets.

Engr. Abdul Rehman Al-Hasan, the General Manager of Al-Babtin Trading Company, shed light on the history of Al-Babtin Company in the field of household appliances reaffirming that Al-Babtin Trading is one of the three fastest growing companies in the Saudi market during the last three years; citing that "BECO" start represents an important addition to the company for the Saudi consumer.

The audience viewed a presentation delivered by Dr. Ahmed Abdul Khaliq, Sales & Marketing Manager of Al-Babtin Trading, which included full explanation about the objectives and plan of the company to reach with "BECO" mark a point of becoming among the best three international trade marks in the Saudi market in three years; revealing the merits of "BECO" products in the field of smart solutions, state-of-the-art technology and friendliness with the environment.
